The music is what you would expect from the band, but somehow it’s more layered and complex than anything else they’ve done, and new things will continue to be discovered upon multiple listenings. The same goes with the lyrics. Aaron Weiss is a brilliant writer, and delivers more thought-provoking idea’s and intricate word pictures that require several listens for meaning to emerge. This album is a virtual collection of epiphanies waiting to happen.
