Forget what you thought you knew about this band. Before Solid State Records assimilated Takehold, Underoath was a metal band. A very dark, brutal, extreme metal band. Dallas is at his scariest with vocals that literally give Lucifer himself chill-bumps, and some of the things this band does here are just mind-blowing. This is by far their best record, and an essential album to own.
Good luck with that though, as they're currently going on Amazon for upwards of $150.
